HCR1600-ED is the biggest tophammer hydraulic crawler drill in the FRD range and is designed for large holes. It succeeds HCR1500-EDII for European countries. The main new features of this machine are the new Tier4i (Stage 3B) engines, increased drifter impact power and increased flushing capacity. In addition to this, several other improvements have been implemented, much of which focus on increased operator comfort, ease of maintenance and reduced operating cost. All machines in the FRD range come standard with a proven advanced hydraulic control of drilling parameters, dual dampening drifter and engine power delivery control that all combine to deliver more productivity, reduced downtime and reduced operating cost.
